WHAT IS DISC GOLF?
Disc Golf is much like Ball Golf (what Tiger Woods plays). The goal in Ball Golf is to get the ball in the hole, from point A to Point B, in the fewest amount of swings of the golf club. The goal in Disc Golf is the same, however, the ball is a disc, the hole is a basket and the club is your own body. The player who has, after 18 holes/baskets, the fewest amount of throws, is the winner. Disc Golf is accessible for a much wider range of people. There are no high-priced greens fees, the equipment is inexpensive and the courses are mostly free to play. The game is easy to learn and players of all skill levels can have equal amounts of fun.
WHERE DO I PLAY?
Disc Golf courses are being designed and installed all over the world, at a growing rate. The majority of them are free to play and have either 9 or 18 holes. "Dgcoursereview.com" and the iOS APP "uDisc" are the most common and popular ways to find a course near you.
WHY SHOULD I PLAY?
Disc Golf is a great form of exercise.
